About us
Crest Recycling is a licensed waste carrier operating in North London, East London and Essex. We provide waste removal, recycling and clearance services to residential and commercial customers. You can contact us at info@crestrecycling.co.uk.
Use of this website
This website is provided for informational purposes and to allow you to request quotes and contact us about our services. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, introduce malicious code, or use automated tools to scrape or harvest content. We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website at any time without notice.
Requesting a quote or booking a service
Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote through our website does not constitute a binding contract. A contract is formed only when we have confirmed your booking in writing (including by email) and you have accepted our quoted price. Quotes are provided based on the information you supply and are subject to change if the actual volume, weight or nature of the waste differs materially from what was described. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
Payment terms and pricing
Our prices are quoted inclusive of labour and disposal unless otherwise stated. Payment is due on completion of the service unless a different arrangement has been agreed in writing in advance. We reserve the right to charge for additional time or disposal costs where the job scope exceeds what was originally quoted. All prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
Cancellations and rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible at info@crestrecycling.co.uk. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover costs already incurred. We will always endeavour to accommodate rescheduling requests where operationally possible. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your booking, we will notify you as early as possible and arrange an alternative date at no additional cost.
Liability limitations
We take reasonable care when carrying out all work, but our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the value of the service provided. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. We are not responsible for any items inadvertently included in waste that you have asked us to remove — please ensure you have checked all items before collection.
Waste carrier licence and legal compliance
Crest Recycling holds a valid Waste Carrier Licence issued under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Controlled Waste (Registration of Carriers and Seizure of Vehicles) Regulations 1991. All waste we collect is disposed of legally and responsibly at licensed facilities. We comply with all applicable UK waste management legislation. Customers must not ask us to dispose of hazardous waste, asbestos, or any other controlled substance without prior written agreement and appropriate documentation.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, graphics and design — is owned by or licensed to Crest Recycling and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this site without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference purposes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
